Stunning purple and white striped aubergine, eggplant. This beautiful heirloom aubergine is white with streaks of violet that fade to soft lavender. The fruits are not huge but grow to about 8 inches long and 3 inches across and have creamy white flesh that is tender and very mild-tasting. Very productive plants keep bearing throughout a long season. We pick some tiny aubergines for a truly stunning barbeque kebab vegetable. Quite early and this plant is so ornamental it wouldn't look out of place in a flower border.
